英語の授業は2つのグループに分かれて、2人の先生にして頂いています。先生方から「Don't be shy. Don't be afraid of making mistakes」と言われており、生徒たちも一生懸命英語を使って、話そうと努力しています。成長が楽しみです。
午後は「Monterey Sports Center」へ行きました。ここには体育館、ジム、プールなどがあり、生徒たちは友達と身体を動かして、心身ともにリフレッシュしていました。中には積極的に現地の人たちと交流を深めて、一緒に汗を流したりしている生徒もいました。
生徒たちは毎日英語で日記を書いています。日に日に上達するスピードに驚かされています。
Today we had our second class. I was less nervous than in the first class, but I couldn't raise my hand much. We played a gesture game together and had a lot of fun. After school, we went to the sports center. I was surprised to see so many things I had never tried before. There was also volleyball and swimming pool. It was fun to move my body for the first time in a while. After school, Jennifer and I went shopping. I was very happy that she bought me food and other things I needed.
